Permission and responsibility
Only connect Threads accounts you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for your moderation settings, review decisions, deployment configuration, and compliance with rules that apply to your content and audience.
Acceptable use
Do not use Comment Cop to violate Meta’s Platform Terms, OpenAI’s Usage Policies, applicable law, or another person’s rights. Do not attempt to access accounts, replies, or credentials that are not yours.
Beta service
The product is provided as a beta and may change, fail, or be unavailable. Moderation models can make mistakes. Review your policy, use shadow mode when appropriate, and keep access to Threads’ own controls.
Data and third-party services
Use of the product involves the installation’s database plus Meta and OpenAI services as described in the Privacy notice. Those services have their own terms, availability, and data practices.
Ending access
The operator may suspend access to protect the service, connected accounts, or other users. You may permanently delete your account and stored data from Settings, or request help by email if you cannot sign in.
Operator and effective date
These terms are effective July 15, 2026. Comment Cop is operated by Brian Sunter; questions and notices may be sent to [email protected].
