Account permissions
Only the Threads access moderation needs.
ReplyTidy uses three Threads permissions to identify the profile you connect, read its incoming replies, and manage reply visibility.
account permissions / current
Basic profile access
The threads_basic permission identifies the Threads profile you authorize so ReplyTidy can associate the connection and moderation settings with the right account.
Reply-reading access
The threads_read_replies permission allows ReplyTidy to receive and evaluate replies for the connected profile. It does not grant access to private messages.
Reply-management access
The threads_manage_replies permission allows ReplyTidy to hide a reply and restore it after approval or correction.
What ReplyTidy does not do
ReplyTidy does not publish posts, send automated replies, manage a content calendar, read private messages, or act on Instagram, Facebook, or X.
How the connection is used
The token is used by background moderation and explicit dashboard actions. If Threads rejects the token or a required permission disappears, ReplyTidy stops visibility actions and asks you to reconnect.
Revoke or remove access
You can disconnect through your Meta account controls or delete your ReplyTidy account from Settings. Account deletion removes the active Threads credential and moderation data as described in the Data deletion notice.
