Data deletion

A clear exit for your data.

You can remove your ReplyTidy account and connected Threads credentials after any recurring billing is resolved.

data deletion / current

Delete your account

Sign in with Threads, open Settings, and use “Delete account and stored data.” Type DELETE to confirm. Account deletion requires a fresh Threads session. If a subscription is active, trialing, payment-affected, incomplete, paused, or scheduled to cancel at period end, first open Billing to cancel or resolve it. Account deletion is blocked until the subscription is canceled or its incomplete checkout has expired. The session is cleared when deletion completes.

What is removed

Account profile data, sessions, OAuth provider credentials, linked Threads credentials, protection settings, custom rules, legacy admission records, reply history, delivery state, duplicate markers, rule evidence, compact audit facts, and active local billing links for every linked Threads owner are removed. Provider-side data remains subject to Meta’s, OpenAI’s, and Stripe’s own controls and policies.

Billing records that remain

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals after the stated effective date; it does not erase completed charges or create an automatic refund. Stripe and the operator may retain invoices, payment references, tax details, and limited canceled-subscription records for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. These records are not used to continue reply moderation after account deletion.

Automatic Meta requests

When Meta sends an authenticated data-deletion or deauthorization request, ReplyTidy verifies the signed request and first cancels every nonterminal Stripe subscription tied to the owner. If provider cancellation cannot be confirmed, deletion fails closed instead of leaving an untraceable recurring charge. After confirmed retirement, ReplyTidy removes the owner-scoped account, Threads, moderation, and active local billing data and returns an opaque confirmation code. Legally retained billing records remain as described above; a confirmation code in this page’s URL is the receipt for the completed request.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] and include the account email or connected Threads username. Do not send access tokens, app secrets, passwords, or unnecessary reply text. The operator may request additional account-ownership evidence before deleting data.
